Wagon’s February night was opened by Claire Nicolson. Having previously worked with the likes of Martina Topley Bird, Dodgy and Mike Oldfield, Clare is now going solo and proved a huge hit at Wagon. Next up was Antlered Man. This band set the place alight and was an early gig for a new band destined for big rock things. Our February headliner was one of the most talked about bands in the electro land in 2011. The MidiMidis are on the brink of big things and their performance at Wagon demonstrated why.

Wagon – Thursday 13th January
Posted by james on Tuesday Dec 21, 2010 Under UncategorizedJanuary’s Wagon pulls in three fantastic acts. Our first headliners of 2011 are Steve Lamacq favourites The Kabeedies. This brilliant indie band get better and better as well as more and more popular. We are utterly delighted to have the boys signed up and setting the tone for Wagon in the new year. Also making a Wagon debut is John MOuse (formerly JT Mouse). He has been described as a Welsh Beck and is much loved by Radio 1’s Huw Stevens. We open January’s new music fest with post-punk band Remodel. A sharper, edgier, more impactive yet accessible post-punk rock’n'roll band you couldn’t wish for – all the energy, vitriol, angular chops and lyrical literacy of the Gang of 4, coupled with the sharp-suited crossover stadium pop potential of Maximo Park. Remodel are destined for the big league.

Wagon – Thursday 16th December
Posted by james on Monday Nov 29, 2010 Under UncategorizedWagon returns on Thursday 16th December. First on the bill is Camden Town’s Blabbermouth. With a captivating stage presence and enchanting voice you can’t fail but be drawn in by this hugely talented lyricist. Next up, Doyle and The Fourfathers – one of the most exciting (and youngest) new bands around. BBC 6Music’s Marc Riley pronounced their first single as “An absolute whopper” and who are we to argue with Lard? Our December headliners are East London’s own, Delooze. The bands current single, Too Heavy To Stand Up, was produced by Grammy award winner Dom Morley who describes them as ‘One of the most exciting and powerful bands I’ve had the pleasure of working with.’ Each act has promised a festive cover so please join us for an indie Christmas at Catch!
